all elements are in Vegas I used media gen for grid and composited 3 pics dodge to cut a neg on grid
it has a bit of an optical illusion on the grid , worth playing around with it

the text veg I rotated the text and lined up to markers =, very simple change text to suite yourself

any ideas to improve are very welcome

very nice! Only suggestion I have is that you see the text changing from one thing to another in the background (ie stuff changed to "stay up to date". I'd say that doesn't look good, have the new text come from somewhere else.

OR..... put the whole thing in 3d parent tracks & then rotate everything to new text! :D

Nice demo but there is no download of a .veg file for others to use!

I hazard a guess there will be one soon. :-)

The text elements seem to be having a hard time working out where they belong on the stage. Visually distracting.
Anchor the text into the two intersecting planes, only take them out to reveal them, then put them back or do something consistant with them. Too many changes of speed and direction in the text, too hard to know what you want me to look at. Message lost.

Thanks for the good suggestions guys

Stephen I moved the time keys offset earlier so the text changes aren’t noticeable good point thanks

Bob I see your point about the text having a set space and speed the speed must be an optical thing as the movement is set to markers at same increments so this then will come back to changing the text keys after the rotate so that there is no movement after the rotate...less distracting

All I will do is copy last key after rotate and past before the next rotate

This will keep the text in a set space and the only movement will be to reveal themselves keeping the look more consistent as your suggestion
Thanks Bob

Thanks for all the input guys this helps me get a mental image of what works and what doesn’t for future projects
When I work on something I only have my perspective on the clip which can be rutty so getting feedback is very constructive to creating a better perspective

I sent the first veggies off if anyone wants the updated with above changes let me know and I will send them off

Changes made looks better I kept a slight movement between the keys so it’s a lot less erratic
