If you have the left and right views in separate files put them in separate timelines then pair them as a stereoscopic 3D subclip.

This is covered in the user's manual PDF, though some details are scattered about. Use the hyperlinks in the PDF to track things down.

Hi.
i know that part. I don’t understand the project properties.
What frame size do i use if my end product is sbsFull or frame packed 1080p / eye ?

do i choose frame size 1920x1080 and 3d mode sbs full and the software understandable i wanna create a sbs full video thas has actual resolution of 3840x1080

do you know can i correct perspective errors with built in filtters and tools.
i would like to go through Atleast a scene from my copy of friday the 13th. There huge errors in the images. Some scenes Are better some worst or parts of the image Are postioned wrong causing eye discomfort. I just wanna prove my point.

In the project settings you specify the dimensions of the individual (left or right) images.

When you render you specify the total dimensions. For a side-by-side full video your render settings should be 3840x1080.

Here is an example (top/bottom full) I prepared for another thread on this subject:

Vegas does have a good Stereoscopic 3D Adjust FX tool for horizontal, vertical, and rotational alignment as well as toe-in. There is an auto adjustment and you can tweak each parameter manually too.

im trying to correct an clip from older movie to make a point. PArt of the image is ok but some parts of the image don´t aling up correctly. propably due to camera tech in that time when shooting. so i would need to warp the image or distort, if we talk in photoshop terms.

I don't know how to do this in Vegas...it may be possible, but I've never tried anything like it.

If the camera is on a tripod and the distorted feature is static you might be able to edit a frame grab in photoshop and then use masking to overlay the correction over the video clip. I've done this in some 3D 360 videos to hide things or patch the apex and nadir.
