3mb WMV Compression..........

I used to be able to render videos in 3mb WMV compression, but after reinstalling video factory I can only render movies using the 1mb WMV setting. Is there any way I can get the 3mb WMV setting back???

Are you sure that you are running the latest version of Video Factory? It should be there.

Just go to the "Support" menu at the top of this page and select "Updates".

The latest version of Video Factory 2.0 is 2.0c.
If you have VF 1.0, download and install the 2.0 demo to gain access to 3MB WMV compression in VF 1.0.

Thats wierd, it didn't work. There isn't even a 3mb WMV option in the Video Factory 2 Demo???????

That is weird. Search your hard drive for the file "wmfplug.dll". The version number should be 1.2.

If the version number is correct, drag that file to the timeline in VF to automatically reregister the plugin for use with VF.
