Have just upgraded to 4.0D. Experiencing new problem opening/saving files. Quite often when I try to open a new directory in any of the various different open/save dialog windows, Vegas pauses for what can last up to 1-2 minutes before the dialog box reflects the new information.
In the meantime, any clicks to the windows makes Vegas LOOK like it is hung (i.e., window panes not updating, everything paused, sometimes just window border appears with only white insides for main and dialog window).
However, if I let it just sit there, eventually it opens the directory and behaves normally. Thereafter, I can open the directory without issue. This same behavior happens during a search (i.e., for a source video that was moved) once I click on the "found" file.
This mostly happens on a mounted drive but sometimes it occurs on a normal "C" drive. Did not happen before the upgrade, at least not that I noticed.
Are other people seeing wierd file open delays?
