Hi,
With my new Sony Z5u in hand I'm trying to select the best setting for certain conditions and in need of some advice.
Say, my camera setting is at 1080i 60i 30ftp, Interlace and the footage was already recorded.
Scenario #1: Client A wants a DVD on 4:3 only.
In Vegas, do I just select NTSC DV (720x480, 29.970 fps)? (and do the down-scaling).
I'm assuming that if they ever went for a HDTV, the image on the DVD would look stretched.
Scenario #2: Client B wants a Blu-Ray 16:9 only
In Vegas, which one do I select?
HDV 1080-60i (1440x1080, 29.970 fps)
or
HD 1080-60i (1920x1080, 29.970 fps)
What's the diff?
Scenario #3: Client C wants a DVD and Blu-Ray
This happens often with weddings...they want to give a copy to their parents and they have an old TV set, while the newly weds have a HDTV.
Any ideas?
Question 4:
What is the difference between
HDV 720-30p (1280x720, 29.970 fps)
and
HDV 1080-60i (1440x1080, 29.970 fps)?(if played on a HDTV or regular 4:3 TV)
Okay I'm done.
Thanks
