What's the secret for getting the four channels of audio recorded on XDCAM HD into Vegas Pro 8?

If I use the XDCAM Explorer or even just drag and drop my .mxf clips onto the timeline, I'm only getting the video with a stereo pair of audio channels, instead of the four channels of audio they were recorded with.
