Can't comment on the quality because I don't own a burner yet but I have been playing around with a trial version of Dazzle DVD complete and it appears you can "program" the DVD to go from one clip to the next fairly seamlessly (at least on the computer). I would be interested to see if the less expensive programs (such as Ulead DVD Studio) can do this instead of returning to a menu after each clip is finished playing. When I tested the demo, the DVD always returned to a menu when the clip was done playing.

In my amateur experience, I find it better to have shorter clips because the likelihood of sound and video falling out of synchronization is a lot less. Plus, I am saving 18 to 20 minute mpeg 2 clips on CD-R as archives until I get a burner. A program that allows me to take advantage of shorter clips would be a plus.

Would like to hear what others think.

I e-mailed SCM Micro about 4GB file size limitation in Dazzle DVD Complete using VV3 and Fat32 and this was their response:

"Response (Support Staff) - 04/10/2002 06:42 PM
Hello,
It will still have that limitation. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Not sure what to think as you don't seem to see a problem.
