4 videos displayed at one time

Hi!
I am trying to display 4 videos at once, which I can do. My problem is I can get only 3 of them to match up in the same size to allow for a small boarder around them. The fourth one will not match up and is slightly lager and I can not adjust it. I am using the track motion control to do this. I tried typing in the size I want, but it automatically goes back to the original numbers and will not retain the new numbers I type. Any suggestion on how to unlock what ever is retaining the original numbers would be appreciate

YOu may need to turn off aspect ratio matching.
However;
1. I'd recommend that you use Pan/crop for your 4 way split.
2. There are several veg files on the VASST site that set up the splits.
3. Tools like Ultimate S and Excalibur have these sorts of "effects" built in should you need them.

If you want to describe your scenario a little more deeply either here or in private mail, I'm happy to build you a veg.

I am attempting to show four 30 to 50 second videos or photographs appear to gather at different places in four different locations,in a 7 to 8 minute video. I am not mixing video and photograps I either have four videos or four photos.

I did this once using pan and crop. I'm on my other computer right now, but if you'd like the numbers to set up your corners, I could give them to you later? Either that, or just experiment and find what you like best. Tip: Use the grid overlay on your preview window. It helped frame them up.

I can field this one... for a 720x480 project

-180,120, 360x240 (top left)
180,120 360x240 (top right)
-180,-120, 360x240 (bottom left)
180,-120, 360x240 (bottom right)

Note the negative values.

or...

cell width=project width/2
cell height=project height/2

top right corner cell x = project width/4
top right corner cell y = project height/4

the other cell corners can be figured by just flipping the negative values on the x and y coordinates. Positive x is right of center (0) , negative x is left of center. Positive y is above center (0) and negative y is below center. For example, see the above example for the bottom left cell where both are negative values.
