4 videos same size in project

If I wish to use track motion to place 4 identically sized, PAL (720 x 576) video clips at once into a project. I tried placing the first clip for the top left hand corner so that the bottom right of the clip was at the center, & then tried to reduce the clip down to 1/4 size. As soon as I clicked on the corner to drag it the corner moved away from the center. What is the correct way to do this?

1. Turn on Snap in the T/M window
2. with the clip at full size in the preview window, and "Size about Center" disabled, grasp the lower right edge of the clip.
3. Slide it towards the upper left. Look at the dots, you'll find the exact centerpoint, and can drop/snap the edge to those dots. This will also provide a reference to get to this with the next image as well.
There is a veg for this on the www.sundancemediagroup.com/help/kb site, and a small tutorial there, plus one on the www.dmnforums.com site.

Once you have done this how do you make each of the four tracks smaller without loosing the centre point?
