Interesting test that seems quite well designed actually (to compare common video recording problems that have nothing to do with the common simple color charts).

Looks like Sony has a real winner here! (and it will be interesting to see how Panasonic counters).

[PMW-EX1:] [...] extremely loyal and natural images. [...] S / N is the product family in the best and quiet impression. [...] The test in the sense of resolution, S / N also contains clear sense of this is clearly the top.

[HVX200:] the resolution is clearly insufficient. "FIO" on the "Fruit Wine" is unreadable. Bead color contour and jaggy. Meanwhile, faithful color reproduction is quite accurate. In particular, the color of the shadow of the ball in the texture has been reproduced that it is a bear mentioning. Specifications are unfathomable, mysterious ability.

Deliveries have slipped. Presently stores are getting many fewer than orders placed. Probably just as well. I've got work to finish.

I just love seeing that (apparently improved exposure latitude). Much nicer than all the other pics that I could see. Seemed to be less blowing out (if any really) and better shadow detail (most likely due to the larger chips among other things).

Anyway, I figure on buying this year (once things settle down a little bit).

LOL!

Did ANYbody study the content and choice of items? I had to giggle at the "Dread". Just WHAT is he smoking? Any takers? Intersting spin on what we think is acceptable, attainable and part of the/our "kulture" . . . Pool, alcohol, fast cars and "other" forms of relaxation.

. . and that long red sports car! Personally, I drive a 5-door Nissan - built in Newcastle (I think?).

And yes, great find.

Whatever it is doesn't seem to be making him too unhappy, Grazie!

My Japanese isn't very good, but I think it says he's organising the Tombola at the Tokyo Rasta Church bazaar.

This article might be of interest if you're considering XDCAM EX for Sony Vegas.

Thanks for that but so far our problem isn't getting the footage onto the timeline, it's getting a camera to shoot the footage with.
