4 way PIP

Being a new user ...what would be the best way to approach a 4 way spilt , like the old quad spilt in TV land,

4 pics in quarter frames frozen as each speaks it zooms to full frame and rolls ...then retreats back for the next one , next box, to do the same..

Quick solution I hope...client is on the deck having lunch..

cheers

You use the track motion controls on every video track. Sometimes you combine this with the Pan and Crop controls on every video clip.

Quickest way to do this is log on the VASST website and do a search for video wall or brady bunch, then you can download a veg that does it.

To make the videos change from quarter-screen to full size, you have to use keyframes in track motion.

You can also search this forum for brady bunch, video wall or PIP and get a lot of respsonses.

Here's a veg that might get you close to what you want. Replace the generated media on each track with your own media 4-in-1.veg

However .. if time is against you .. Try Tsunami

LOADS of options & tools . .

You get:

* Video Wall - I've done a 5x5 = 25 video events. Tsunami does it in 2 seconds flat! All evenly arranged and with OR without borders.

* PiPs by percentage - 2 secs

* Rotating Picture - Gives you the parameters to choose and then you . .er .. just DO it! 2 secs!

* Newspaper Spin - For that ACTION "Stop The Presses" type sequence . 2 secs

* Multi PIPS . . here we go . .. 3 wide OR layered OR moving ... er time? 2 secs!

. . as I said helping tools too - to make life a bit easier.
