It's about that time I start shopping for a 4K camera, and so I'm going to need to upgrade from Studio 11.
I'm looking at Sony's comparison of features for Studio 13 vs Vegas Pro 13, and 4K project support is not checked for Studio. But it says it supports 4K video. Does this mean you can import 4K video, but can only render HD output? How can this possibly be true? Why wouldn't the consumer-grade software support the consumer-grade 4K camcorder? It's just a resolution, not a pro feature like lighting effects or video scopes.
My specific questions, besides whether 4K projects are supported in Studio:
Can you pan and scan 4K source to full HD project?
Does Studio import 4K MP4 from Panasonic cameras as well as 4K XAVCS from Sony cameras?
Does Studio support 60p projects?
Does Studio support 120p and 240p full HD source?
Thanks,
Chris
