Any chance of there ever being a 5.1 AAC encoder included with Vegas? That would be a great feature (for me anyways LOL). I just discovered by accident that my Panasonic receiver decodes 5.1 AAC from my PS3 - this is not documented in the owners manual - but it is working! Unless the PS3 is sending decoded 6 channel PCM to the receiver.

So now I am using the .mp4 container more with AAC 5.1 (before it was ac3 and avc into a m2ts container). But I have to encode the audio outside Vegas with the free Nero encoder... keeping it all in Vegas would be great!
