Yup, just lay down both audio tracks under the video file in DVD-A and then the user can select with their remote what one they want to listen to. You could also set it up in the main menu if you wanted to as well.

If you check out the sample project which comes with the DVDA2 software, it has both a stereo and 5.1 audio track, subtitles, etc. It's worth burning just to get an idea of what can be done. I just got DVDA2 yesterday, and burned the sample project a couple minutes ago to check out...and everything worked great with the remote for switching between stereo and 5.1

I appreciate the input. I'm still with Vegas 4.0 + DVD 1.0. It sounds very simple but I've actually not tried mixing anything in 5.1 yet. I just wanted to know if it was possible as I don't remember reading anything about this in my manuals. I can't afford to up-grade to Vegas 5, right now. If anyone can tell me if this works in the Vegas 4.0 + DVD 1.0, I don't have the time to experiment for a while. (just happen to actually have some video work I'm in the middle of.)

I don't think you could have multiple audio tracks in Version 1...I might be wrong about that though. One workaround would be to put the video on the DVD twice, once with each audio track. Then on the main menu have 2 buttons so the user can select which audio track they want then link it to the video with the appropriate audio.

Jsnkc, I actually already thought of that one. And most of the future projects that I would use that trick on, would be short enough for me to include two videos of the same thing. I , of course, would rather just be able to choose from two audio options, that way I'll be able to max out the video resolution. I wish ol' Sony would let me just up-grade the DVD section only, but it would probably cost me as much as I paid for my entire Vegas set-up, that I bought while Sonic Foundry still owned it. Thanks for the suggestion, anyway.

I know with Version 2 you can import the same video as many times as you want but it only accounts for it in the bit budget once. Might want to try it anyways and see if it works the same way in version 1.

That's an idea. I'll give it a try. Thanks
