I have a handycam dvd403 recorder which supports dolby 5.1 sound. When I get to the process of burning the DVD off, will it still hold the 5.1 sound format?
I know a video I produced with the trial version of ULeads software seemed to. When I played it on our home system I could hear independant sounds/voices, etc comming from different speakers in front and in back.
I also keep hearing about AC3 support (which I believe ULead had and VMS6 does not) and I am not sure if that is just a compression routine or if not having it will remix my sound down to a 2 channel right/left only stream.
Would it be possible for anyone to clear up some of my confusions?
