500 MB of RAM?

Hi,

I have 16 GB of RAM installed on my computer

While rendering a video in Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13, and monitoring my installed hardware using the resource monitor in Task Manager I noticed that Movie Studio is only utilizing 500 MB of RAM out of the 13 GB that were currently available.

Is it possible for Sony Movie Studio to Utilize more of my RAM than 500 MB?

Are you using the 32 bit or 64 bit version of the software? What is your operating system?

I'm using windows 7 64 bit OS
