512 BM enough for Platinum?

I just ordered the new Platinum. Can anyone advise me if I can get better performance/experience with more that 512MB RAM installed when using MS (ver 6 included, I guess). I'll got XP Home system with most other programs (except maybe Kerio firewall) disabled. Thanks!

I run the full version of Vegas 6 + DVD with 256MB with no problems. The only reason i would need more memory is if i want to have lots of other programs open at the same time. If you do "slideshow" type videos with lots of large still images then more memory is probably necessary.

I'm only at 384 and everything runs great.
Vegas is not a resourse hog.

I have 512MB and it works just fine.

Now I haven't burned anything yet and I've only used Platinum for a few hours but it seems to me that the application is running smoother then the previous version (if you can believe that). This is especially true on the project preview.
