Has any had a chance to encode to the ipod yet...or more specifically, tinker with the default settings?
So far, I've only been able to raise the audio bit rate to 160 bps...anything more and the ipod refuses the files. Any changes in the video bit rate (higher) and the ipod/itunes balks
The provided template works pretty well for ipod delivery in every test we have done. You are welcome to experiment with custom settings but one thing to be aware of:
iTunes might accept the file but that does not mean the iPod will play it. A file compliance check needs to be done using the ipod itself.
