601-701 filter

How do I apply this filter in vegas to ensure I can edit my DVwide proxy footage and it will CC properly to the original m2t files on HD output. And if I output the DVwide proxy with the color correction and 701 filter applied, to DVwide will my colors be off, would I have to remove the filter redo color correction and output to SDDVwide?

This is only needed for Vegas 5. If you are using GearShift to create the DV proxy, the latest version 1.2.1 will now install the filter for you and allow you to apply it pre-render or post-render. It will also swap it in and out (if you selected post-render) as it swaps the proxy media. This should be up on the VASST site shortly.

If you want to do this manually, I would apply it at the track level, then just disable it when you swap the proxy with the real media. Again, this is only required for Vegas 5. Vegas 6 will correctly adjust for the difference in color space.
