It takes me around 90 minutes to render a ten minute video in 60FPS 1080p. Is there anything I can do to try and improve my rendering speed while still keeping hte quality as 1080p 60FPS?
The only faster way is with an older Nvidia Fermi card like the GTX580. With it you can render to MC AVC with CUDA which on my system is usually takes half the time of the video event.
Yes, in case anyone wonders, I installed a GTX580 alongside my AMD FuryX and it's a blast.

That's ridiculous unless you have tons of FX or a really weak system. Rather than the in-built encoders, my "go to" is Handbrake. There is a script that permits one-click operation. Inside of Handbrake you can choose Quick-sync. For my very weak i7 3770K and an Nvidia 650 card, I still get 45 fps for 60P renders. With levels, color curves, and unsharpen, it's down to 38 FPS. Alternatively, you can encode CPU only which increases render times but not all that dramatically and certainly not 9 to 1.
