If I'm rending 60i footage as 24p, is it worth clicking on two-pass encoding?
Honestly, I couldn't tell much difference in the results between one pass and two pass encoding in a couple tests I ran, so wondering if it's worth doubling my render time for the project.
The advantages of two pass encoding are only visible at lower bitrates, as are the advantages of variable bitrate.
In general for over 5Mb/sec two pass seems to gain little to nothing. If you've got the space 8Mb/sec CBR is as good as it gets.
