I know I can render 60i video to 24p with project properties set to NTSC DV 24p (720x480; 23,976 fps) and rendering to avi NTSC DV 24p inserting 2332 pulldown in Vegas 6.
Altough, if I intend to make a DVD, should I still set the project properties to NTSC DV 24p and render straight to mpeg2 DVDA 24p NTSC video stream from Vegas 6? Will the end result be the same or I should render it into a 24p avi file first.
Could I also use my 24p avi file and have it rendered within DVDA, in the MAKE DVD Optimize section. If so, what frame rate should I select : 29,97 or 23,976?
At last, I own a PD-170, If I would like to print to tape, knowing that this camera won't handle 24p video, is there a way to convert my 24p avi video into a 29,97 60i video and still keeping the 24p motion.
Thanks,
Robert
