64-Bit Version of Vegas

Any ideas when the 64-Bit Version of Vegas will come out? I read at the end of 2007 but I have not seen it. I am looking at building a system and using Vista 64 as my operating system and I not sure weather Vegas Pro 8.0 will run on it. I would like to do some HD editing with this system.

mcBill - Vegas 8 runs peachy on it (Vista 64) as it is now - and will see full 4GB memory (with tweaking also optional).

Naturally, a 64bit native version should be even more fun.
