I never had an issue with older versions but I've been working with 8.1 for about 2 hours and have incountered 3 bugs already. I have 8.1 installed on Vista 64 and am working with DV material.
1) The pan and crop window adds black bars to the left and right of my media and distorts the image in the event pan and crop window.
2) If I select a clip and open it in the trimmer, then select a portion and "add media to cursor" or "add media from cursor" and then try to close the trimmer, Vegas freezes and I have to end it through the task manager. Vegas also freezes after you try to "undo" after you add media to the timeline from the trimmer.
3) I can't reproduce this one but my playback in the preview window suddenly went crazy and instead of playing the media that was on my top track, it played back a combination of my top track and the media that was on the tracks underneath. This isn't an opacity thing...it was like it was cutting back and forth between all of the tracks. I restarted Vegas and it played back the same portion of the timeline just fine.
I want to know if anyone else is having these issues in 8.1...the first 2 can be easily reproduced (at least for me).
