88.2 K in 48k project

I was given a bunch of 88K audio to use as soundtrack material.

will it:

1. overly tax or bog down my system to use in 48K project

2. degrade sound to use in 48K project

would it be advise to convert all the files to 48K?

It will make no significant difference, unless the project is enormous.

V converts on-the-fly for preview. I always have Resample And Stretch Quality set to 'Best' in project properties, and don't notice any disadvantage on a low-medium powered machine.

Like Geoff said, just have the 'Best' selected in project properties when you render.
