9.b seems to be crashing

9b seems to be crashing constantly for me every 20 minutes during varied proceedures. I just ran straight upgrade didn't uninstall 9a.

are you running an external monitor? if so, is it a secondary monitor on your computer, or is it one through another video card? since i turned off my external monitor (on a black magic intensity pro card) i haven't had one crash. I don't think the support for this card has caught up with this version yet.

Just a firewire connected external. There are still some issues with firewire preview in that sometimes if I apply a pan/crop firewire preview on just tht clip doesnt show up on the firewire preview but if I restart Vegas it will then show up. Doenst happen in 8. Also pasing clips into 8 that were done in 9 crashes 8 immediately a lot but cut and past from 8 to 8 or 8 to 9 is ok.
