9c .png problem

Just found a problem with a series of png's.
When I put a single png frame from a series of png's alongside the same frame on the timeline it displays about 80% lighter than the same frame in the series.
(I wanted to "stretch" the last frame of my animation)

Is this a known problem with 9c?

(yes I know I can ctrl stretch the animation but my animation was static at that point so putting in a single frame and stretching it to suit works great - normally).

Sorry can;t repro here?

I took a PNG and made it 10 seconds.

Converted to AVI

Split off a frame

Overlapped, no level drop here?

Maybe I haven't done it correctly?

Grazie

1) Create an animation consisting of a bunch of .png files (still images).
2) Bring them into 9c and click on the first image of the sequence.
3) Select "open still image sequence" (lower left corner)
4) Place resulting animation on the timeline. (having set the correct frame rate).
Now...
a) Bring the last .png of the sequence into 9c *but not as a still image sequence*
- as a single image.
b) Place it on the timeline after the sequence.

On my pc it comes out about 80% lighter than the identical png image contained in the sequence. (I use the curser keys to switch between the two of them).

This always used to work fine in earlier versions of Vegas. (No change between the image contained in the animation and the image placed on the timeline as a single image)
