A bit OT: 16:9 using DVD Workshop 1.3

Hi,

A bit off-topic I know.
But I know a lot of you guys author your files to DVD after
you have finished editing in Vegas. So............

I have DV footage shot in 16:9 widescreen
I have converted this into MPEG2 using TMPEGEnc Plus 2.59.47.155.
When played back in PowerDVD it works fine.
On a normal 4:3 TV the aspect ratio is correct with black borders top
and bottom.
On a widescreen TV it displays correctly, filling the screen as expected.

But.......when I write this file to a DVD disc using DVD Workshop 1.3,
it does not play back as widescreen. It outputs it as 4:3 footage.
Obviously, if the widescreen TV is set to playback in widescreen the footage
looks OK.
But when played back on a 4:3 TV, the image is stretched to fill the entire
screen.
No borders top and bottom. Everything is stretched vertically.
This footage needs to be viewed on a normal 4:3 TV as well as widescreen
Can anyone help?

Also, I have noticed that under "Make Disc Options" in DVD Workshop it has
an option under the "General" tab called Frame size.

It has two options with a radio button check box.
The first one is: Standard
You can choose from: 720x576 and other smaller sizes for SVCD and VCD etc.

The second is: User Defined. (BUT this option is greyed out, so you cannot
choose it!!)
You can see that the option to keep aspect ratio (either 4:3 or 16:9) would
be available.
This seems to me, would be the answer to my problem.
Anybody know how to enable this option?

All help appreciated.
