A complete Vegas tutorial and Searching for templates and advanced FX

Hello everyone,

I'm introducing myself as a new member of the forum, although not entirely new to using Vegas. About 20 years ago, I worked with this program to edit several videos during a very creative and fulfilling period. For various reasons, I stepped away from video editing for quite a while, but now I've decided to dive back in—and Vegas is once again my software of choice.

Although I still remember the interface and basic workflow quite well, I understand that the program has evolved significantly over the years. For that reason, I'd love to get your recommendations on the best updated tutorials—either in written form or YouTube videos—that could help me get back up to speed and take advantage of the latest features.

I also wanted to ask if Vegas has any kind of official repository or store (or one recommended by the community) where I can find ready-made video templates that allow simple replacement of text, images, or video clips for quick project turnaround. I'm referring to templates similar to those available for Premiere on sites like VideoHive, such as this one:
https://videohive.net/item/creative-agency/35532713 which includes a .mogrt file. I understand these files aren't compatible with Vegas, but is there any similar alternative or format that works?

Finally, if I wanted to create a video where multiple clips appear in different areas of the screen—like in the linked template—what would be the best way to achieve that in Vegas? Are there any specific tools or features designed to make this type of multi-layered layout easier?

Thank you in advance for any guidance. I'm excited to learn again and to be part of this community.

Best regards,
