A couple of minor irritants.

On our system, if you feed a click track from an outside
metronome into Vegas, the meter on that track wigs out and
does not display properly. Seems to only happen with click
tracks and no matter what resolution the meter is set to
display.

Is it just this system?

Also, why is a "group" not a group for ALL editing
tasks ... as stated in the documentation?

For instance, when I attempt to move a group vertically
only one damn event moves unless I take the extra step of
selecting all events in the group. ("ignore event grouping"
is NOT enabled).

Hey Karl -
Grouping IS a little annoying in this version. But, if you
want an easier way to select the items in a group, press
shift-g after selecting any of the items in that group.

hope that helps.

The question remains ... Why in hell should I have to do
anything whatsoever to "group" something that is already
supposed to be grouped?

In any event, thanks for the suggestion, Charles. In all
honesty, I did not know that keystroke combo. Amazing how
you can spend a good part of your daily life behind an app
and still have avenues completely unexplored?

I agree. I just found that if you want to select a crossfad
only, you can double click on it while holding ctlr-shift.
If you wanted to do a pre-render of that crossfade only.
Anyway, I think grouping sucks also.

Yes, I thought I was doing something wrong when I was
grouping in this version. I swear I created a group and
then the next time I went to select it, it only selected
the one event, so I would again, go and create the group.
Works nothing like it use to in Vegas Pro or Vegas 2.0a.
