Vegas was crashing on me quite frequently tonight which brought back to mind a couple of old tricks from my journalist days and working with InDesign.
1- When a program crashes, it is best to reboot the computer because the system can be messed up by the software crash.
2- The important one: save your file under a different name. Shut down Vegas, then restart and load the new file. This last trick does wonders. It worked beautifully with InDesign (yes, even Adobe programs can crash) and it worked just as well tonight with Vegas.
