A Dumb Question Regarding the MPEG-2 Plug-In

This may well rank as one of the dumbest questions ever...

After almost four happy and productive years using Vegas 6, my system needed a complete format and re-install of everything, including Vegas 6 and DVDA 3.
I've done all the activations, etc., but I don't remember if I have to activate the MPEG-2 plug-in in Vegas. When I tried to do so, there's nothing indicating that I have to activate it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S. If you have any recommendations for curing memory loss, please post them. LOL

Installing DVDA should take care of it for you so get back to editing :-)

it was vegas 5 or 6 I think that stopped asking to register the mpeg/ac3 separately. must be 6. if it doesn't ask & you can open/render, you're all good! :D
