Just to see what would happen, I dragged a .swf file with audio in it into Vegas. It shows up, but the farmes are blank.Tried to render as .wav only, nuttin happened for there was no sound in playback in Vegas either....

You probably already discovered this since you have Vegas, I assume.

You'll have to find some kind of app that recognizes Flash format files -- and that gives you the option to export the audio only, i.e. .wav or .mp3. And/or whereby the app automatically sets video on one track, audio on other.

Then you can drag that audio file into your NLE.

I personally don't know what app does this since I'm somewhat of newbie at Flash, so hopefully someone else can suggest how to do this.

there is a free video conversion app call Super. That should do what you ask.

Indeed, it's called Software Video Converter. I purposely gave you this page where the developer warns people to not get conned . It's freeware. Use the "FreeWare" drop-down menu at the top to go to it.

I'll download it too -- this could come in handy.
