I have a flash video that I need to take the voice over tracks from created in Vegas and sync up to the video. Since it is a flash video and I need to render these 2 together and edit, can vegas do this?
Any helpful ideas would be great. Thank you very much.
Just to see what would happen, I dragged a .swf file with audio in it into Vegas. It shows up, but the farmes are blank.Tried to render as .wav only, nuttin happened for there was no sound in playback in Vegas either....
You probably already discovered this since you have Vegas, I assume.
You'll have to find some kind of app that recognizes Flash format files -- and that gives you the option to export the audio only, i.e. .wav or .mp3. And/or whereby the app automatically sets video on one track, audio on other.
Then you can drag that audio file into your NLE.
I personally don't know what app does this since I'm somewhat of newbie at Flash, so hopefully someone else can suggest how to do this.
Indeed, it's called Software Video Converter. I purposely gave you this page where the developer warns people to not get conned . It's freeware. Use the "FreeWare" drop-down menu at the top to go to it.
I'll download it too -- this could come in handy.
Thanks for the tip, Busterkeaton.
