I am a happy Vegas user. While shooting a B-day party the host spoke for about 1minute which sounds great on the right speaker and horrible (buzzing sound) on the left . Question? During Vegas edit can I capture the 60 seconds of dialogue on the right( good side) and omit the left (bad side) and then go back to normal Audio capture on Vegas 4.0. all on the same project.? Entire Audio ok eccept for 60 important seconds. Its my own fault, thanks for any help.

Yes, very easily. Split the audio track just before and just after the bad section, then right-mouse-button click on the bad section and choose Channels -> Right only.

It also might be easier just to do what Chienworks recommended to the entire file, and then raise the level +6dB. This is based on the recording was probably done with a single Mic, which makes the recording mono, therefore 2 channels are not needed because there's no stereo information.
