sinbad is public domain but the specific name "sinbad returns" may not be.

besides the sword fighting & some hard to understand dialog @ the start, it's pretty fun to watch.

no clue why sinbad threw the dagger though.

Thanks Stephen Yes the sound was bad.. I lost the original sound recordings.. Dagger??

Sinbad returns may not be copyright???

If this were true I could get writing?

Great intro.

Where did you get the music for the film?
reberclark wrote on 10/24/2008, 11:06 AM
Titles are not copyrightable. Ever. It's possible they can be trademarked, or registered trademarked, but that is rare. Copyrights are handled by the Register of Copyrights at the Library of Congress, trademarks are handled by the U.S. Patent Office.

Widetrack the music was alliance of darkness by pierre langer

So would that mean I could write a sinbad adventure that would be similar to other films IE an arabian knights adventure fighting mythical monsters?

Thanks :)

Is there any special plot to this or just another sinbad travels, fights animated beasts, then wins some woman? I always loved sinbad movies when I was a kid.

The Sinbad story is in public domain - it's free for anybody to use (as are most ,if not all, folk tales around the world). Making your own additions to it would be great! Go forth and Make That Movie!

Hi Jim

Sinbad is returning from the Caliphs war against an awful mystical enemy He is pursed by evil forces including dragons and human like creatures.. When he arrives he is going to be married and he's not keen... He arrives at his betrothed and discovers she has met someone else and wants to call it off.. Sinbad is taunted by his rival and a fight ensues.. That night Sinbad and crew are guests of the Caliph and who should turn up? His rival who he discovers is a prince. A big fight happens in the streets of cairo and Sinbad's men are taken prisoner .. Only He the Ships mate and a cabin girl are left. She tells him the story of a reclusive outcast known to possess extraordinary powers .. Sinbad sets out to seek his help in a derepid castle and then to find his missing crew.. Sinbad with the outcasts help and a child like pet dragon he is given track down the evil prince who it transpires is the son of the king against who he had fought when the film opened. The cabin girl is really the Outcasts daughter and only when she is captured does he realize all the time he was in love with her at this the moment of his death. The women he was supposed to marry is flattered Sinbad came back for her and when she realizes Sinbad is in love with the cabin girl wants revenge.. Sinbad must sacrifice himself to save his true love and he does.. However things are not always as they seem..

This has cyclops hybrid humans who eat people with a piut of bones that form a skeletal army dragons serpents and... It just goes on..

This is the treatment anyway!
