A Possibly Stupid Question

I own DVD Architect Studio 3.0 (from the Vegas Movie Studio + DVD package). Do I need to download the 3.0c update? Or is that for DVD Architect 3.0 only?

I'm at the point of being confused because some people refer to DVD Architect Studio as DVD Architect - it even does that in the DVD Architect Studio user manual.

You do not want the 3.0c update as it applies only to DVDA, not to DVDAS. The confusion in the manual is because they use the same manual for both products and just make notations where certain functionality isn't present in DVDAS.

They handle the dual manual pretty well, IMHO. You just need to be alert for the notices that a section doesn't apply to the Studio version.

A long time ago I suggested having a separate forum for DVDA Studio users, similar to the Vegas v. Vegas Studio forums.

It would avoid much of this confusion.
