I'm making up a quick VR-style helmet for my son's science fair project. It has nothing to do with the project so he's not getting graded on it so no, I'm not cheating for him.

I've got a 16:9 video I'm projecting on a screen in the helmet. Is there some math so I can adjust my video so it looks properly when stretched across the helmet? I know as you go farther away from the center you need to distort it more, but wanted to know if there's an easier way then trial & error (I'm sure there is.) The screen is 10 inches in diameter just about a 1/2 circle.
