AAC 5.1 and Vegas 8.0c

Hello
Is there a way to get Vegas 8.0c to recognise the AAC 5.1 audio in a quicktime file?
It works with stereo but 5.1 gives an unknown audio stream message.

Rename the file to .vob
If the video stream is not mpeg-2, you would have to re-import the video as well.
