AAC Music Files in Platinum?

Does anyone know whether the new Platinum Movie Studio accepts AAC music files? All my music is in this format--for my iPod--and it's annoying to have to re-rip a song off a cd everytime I add music in Movie Studio 4.0. Thanks.

it still doesn't work, it does in imovie though...I think
Just use the normal workaround
burn and rip back into project.
