Hello there.

is there any function acting like "batch processing"
a utility with Premiere 6.0 in vv??

"batch processing" is something like
if u finish several projects and make all of the settings and output formats done,
then u can tell ur editing tool start to render the media file(*.avi or *.mpg ...)
one by one. then, u can go for a tea time.
when u come back u will have all ur clips rendered.

I have tried to look up the vv 3.0 manual and check the help index in vv 3.0c,
but all in vein... ( I got only "batch capture" & "batch print to tape" function...)
hope to hear ur answers from this treaure land. thanx!

To do this in Vegas, start Vegas as many times as needed for all the projects you wish to render. After you have them all open, start each one rendering. They'll all run simultaneously, which will be slow, but it won't take any longer than if you ran them all sequentially. Enjoy your tea!

Definitely this should be a feature in VV4: a 'render queue' like after effects has. Yes, we can open multiple projects, and that is *so* cool for some things, but it would be great if we could select a region, right-click and "add to render queue". Even better would be the ability to do it across projects. This shouldn't be that hard... thoughts?

I use the Batch Conversion tool from SF. I render all my projects in Vegas, but then when it comes time to encode a group of files to a size and format, I queue them up and go. It would be nice if the tool used video filters the way it does plugin chains for audio, but ya know, it does a very good job for me. I set up a bunch of encodes and walk away.
