After the title is fully composed the way you want it, highlight the top
portion of the menu that says (untitled) then type in the new name and then
to the upper right find "save preset" then hit button and it will create a
new icon in the title selection folder for the different style texts.
another great way to save titles that are composed of more than just the text media is to first save your current project, then save it as a new veg. Then isolate the area that has say text media, a picture, or several tracks combined to create the title effect you want, then resave it without the original footage. Then reload your original project.
I've been composing some complex titles using transparent pngs and then overlaying the png with text that I finetune until it looks exactly as I want it in combination with the png. Then I save these combinations in a special folder and can reuse them by opening a second instance of vegas and cutting and pasting the saved title tracks to upper tracks in my project and then changing the text to suit the need.
