About to Buy

I'm about to buy the Adaptec FireConnect 4300 3 Port Firewire PCI Card. Is that good? The stats looked good when I read it, and it should work well with the Canopus AVPC 100 right?

I have both of these and they work great together take the pluge and good editing to you.

With my other (Soyo) mother board, the Adaptec PCI card worked great. No problems.

I got a new motherboard that had on-board firewire. The Canopus ADVC-100, with the on-board firewire works excellent.

...good experience with both, but seperate.
