We are releasing an AC-3 encoder plug-in for ACID 4 in the next few weeks. If you have an AC-3 capable DVD authoring app, please try loading our sample 5.1 test file:

Please note that the AC-3 encoder will be verified by Dolby before we release it, so there should be no issues, but we want to make sure our AC-3 files work with your DVD tools.

If you run into any problems, please instantly email drdropout@sonicfoundry.com and list your system, authoring tool and version, burner, and player and any error messages that pop up.
