ac3 audio in preview

Hi, I edited a video in vegas, rendered it out to mpeg2, and the audio to ac3. I put the video& audio together in DVDA2...and when I preview, the audio is a lot quieter than it is when I edited it. I played it in the dvda preview...and then played it in vegas (w/ the same speaker level)...and I could notice a significant difference in volume. Is this some sort of preview issue? It seems ok when it is burned onto a dvd, I just want to make sure that it is ok. Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem using AC-3 5.1 when previewing in DVDA2 the sound in very low.

I noticed the sound is low also, but it does encode ok and plays at normal audio level on the DVD player. I just wish you could preview the AC3 in Vegas so you could verify that the AC3 that you encoded with Vegas works as expected. Maybe they (Sony) will fix this and the DVDA problem as well in the next update.
