I finally have need to use AC3 to create a LFE channel for a DVD of music videos

except my LFE only channel is not encoding..

it creates a blank track..

If I encode all channels there is some content in the LFE, presumably derived from L+R, I have yet to verify


the other 5 channels work as expected

all six channels behave correctly within vegas, its just the AC3 encoding thats the issue

what could be going on?

how else can I make an AC3 5.1 in Vegas?


Can you make a 6 channel wav in vegas?
What software would I use to turn that into an AC3?
