Hey, I have a problem with this and I think you can help me, I currently work in video subtitling, so I create the srt file, and use Sony Vegas option to embed the subtitles to the video, but, as I also subtitle videos in Spanish, some words use accents and special characters (e.g “ñ” “¿”) and those characters are not recognized by Vegas, so it changes them into weird stuff which I have to correct manually, as there are some videos that are >50 min long, it’s not viable to do that manually in those cases, I would like to know if there is a way to make Vegas import accents and those special characters properly, thanks for your time!
