Acid Pro 4 export to Vegas 5.0a?

Can you export a whole Acid Pro 4 project straight into Vegas 5.0?

I know you can send "loops" from Acid to Vegas but can you export so the whole project just turns up in Vegas 5.0 in all the same positions etc?

Vegas 5.0 seems cool for editing as Acid seems to be stuck at 4.0f with NO signs of 5.0! Any vegas seems to be a much better multitracker and more in common with Soundforge..

VEGAS is a multitracker. ACID is an arranger. If you plan on recording you will want to step it up to VEGAS. I've found that ACID conks out if you feed it much more than loops.

Instead of an ACID 5 I would like to see VEGAS adopt more of the functions in ACID.

The apps are so fundamentally different that I use both to their strengths (one's a screwdriver, one's a wrench, two different tools).
Given that, many of us use them both extensively and I can "transfer" a project from Acid to Vegas manually doing many things by hand that should be automatible in software.
If I had the detailed specifications of what was contained in an Acid project file and a Vegas project file, I'd write the software myself :)

I wish ACID & VEGAS would work like the Adobe Suite. You can take a project from Photoshop to Encore to AfterEffects to Premiere and anywhere in between. Sony needs to start thinking about that too. I'd Love to have a full Sony Suite that would intertwine like that. Now that would be a strength. As it is now I have many work-arounds. Can be tedious at times

Vegas needs its own midi, or at least a sensible way to lock to acid without the audio drivers fighting. Vegas REALLY needs multi-tempo support. Editing multi tempo songs in Vegas ( the multitrack audio editing app) really is a pain.

Seems to me that in Vegas updates Sony adds features that already exist in Acid, and in SF & Acid updates they add features that already exist in Vegas, addressing the needs of people who own just one or the other. But alot of people, like me, own Vegas, Acid , SF and CD arch, and and want to use each individual program for their particular strength, AND have them interact with the other programs easily and seemlessly!
