It really doesn't matter where they are on your harddrive, as you can browse from within AM to find them. However, it makes life a little easier if you create a "AM Impluses" folder in the root of your C: driver, and then put the sub folders inside that. When yoe reload a project that uses AM, it will expect to find the implulse in the same location, so don't move or delete the AM Impulse folder.

I've looked for "mirror" in my effects and can't locate it. Where else could it be?

load an instance of the Acoustic Mirror plugin ('mirror').
In the plugin window there is a browse button to the right or a white rectangular box near the top of the window.
click on it once
a 'windows-style' file browser will pop up.
browse to the location on your hard disk where you have put the Acoustic Mirror impulses.
Select one and press 'open' to load it
the name directory path will now be shown in the box.
