After going through all the steps to install Vegas pro, i went to register my product and start my one month trial. However, i have received an invalid activation code. Literally the first time i clicked on the link to get my code, it came up as invalid.
This is the first time using this product, on a new computer, using a new account.
Any ideas would be wonderful.
Did you type in the code or copy and paste from the email? The latter is best just in case a character gets misread.
I wish i could do either, the link that takes me to the activation code always comes up invalid. I'm unable to see an activation code because i cant reach them in the first place.
This is the text i get when i click the link in the registration email:
"Invalid confirmation code
The confirmation code your entered is invalid. You may have already used it."
However, I haven't used the vegas products before, nor have i used any of these codes. It even happens to newly generated registration attempts.
It's a while since I downloaded a trial, and from your description it seems the procedure may have changed.
From memory after installing the product I got a registration window. I then clicked on a box and waited for an email to arrive. This email contained the activation code which I copied to the registration screen.
Anyway you, presumably at the registration screen, had to create a Magix account. Go to your account https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/ and look under your products to see if VP17 is shown and if so what its trial activation code is.
So, I finally got it to work. I had to create a new account using a different email service. Oddly enough, the email that worked contained the code in the email itself. Whereas the earlier emails that caused the issue i had, only contained a link to the code.
