Activation under other email

Hello, I purchased Sony Vegas 16 from the Humble Software Bundle. After installing, I'm getting an error code -24 saying that the code was already activated on another device. Checking the about section, it's registered to my main email address. However I may have accidentally used my other email address for "signing in" to the software or something. I was confused with having forgotten my MAGIX password and accidentally trying to install Movie Studio instead of Vegas Pro from the bundle.

I'm not sure where to go from here.

What are you referring to with "the about section"? If you use your email address that it's registered to does it not activate?
